The Decision Compass

(1)   Life is a maze, a riddle, a conundrum (unless we are attuned to our hearts and to heaven?)

(2)   Reading From One O'Clock

  1. The limitations of duty and employment can bring on boredom.
  2. 'The devil finds work for idle hands' tedium can lead to crime.
  3. 'Evil Destroys Itself' prison awaits the unwary deviant.
  4. Stifling confinement can end in death or a severance with waywardness.
  5. Release is often followed by celebration, euphoria and over-excitement.
  6. Over-indulgence can lead to imbalance and a disordered mind.
  7. Master the vagaries of insanity and we may emerge with genius.
  8. Manic inspiration mastered with discipline can bring rich rewards.

DECISION COMPASS continued

"Strike The Right Note!"

What is "The Right Note"?

Praise the deviant, scorn the hero, punish the defeated, reward the robber?

Know when to act, when to wait, when to start, when to stop and when to keep on going.

When to say 'Yes' when to say 'No', when to acquiesce, when to resist.

Easy, you say?

How hard it can be to engineer something as simple as the right set of thoughts.

How easy it is to get it wrong, completely wrong.

Intervene - Interfere

Let it be - laissez fair

Delegate - abdicate

Leave well along - abandon & disown

Nurture & nourish - push & force

“Just say yes” - scam or success?

At least if we know what we are up against we might stand a chance.

In the middle is haze

The fog of confusion

The "Cloud of unknowing"

The mists of uncertainty

The path of never being entirely sure about anything

No shadow so long, so dark and so cold as that of the wrong decision, the opportunity missed.

The Gates To Paradise can open with a single right choice.

“Je ne regret rien” (I regret nothing).

Really?
