Shimmering beings of energised light

Round up your armies and bring them to fight

Vanquish the demons that torment my days

Unlock my dungeon, flatten the maze

Lift up the veil, enable me to see

The course of action that will set me free

Wrong vs right, a confused, cluttered mind

'Tis time to leave this dustbin behind

Weakness, indulgence, addictive bad habits

I live by the laws of intoxicated rabbits

"Individuals are innocent" am I really so bad?

Mistakes got me here and that makes me sad

Inspiration, motivation, aspiration, a goal!

But the rules of betrayal turn gold into coal

How can I succeed when the enemy's within?

Despair is eternal, is it possible to win?

If the world I describe is a reflection of me

Where must I look to retrieve the key

That opens the way to delightful enlightenment

A rich new life of peaceful entitlement?

The cure (I have heard) is, "The Spirit Of Truth"

Who heals the wounds from the folly of youth

To sever the links with an ugly old past

Jump into the present, let victory be fast

My heart I open to the infinite mind

Through perfect silence all things can one find

My thoughts I attune to divine intervention

As I plan my escape by miraculous invention

Goodwill and awe, gratitude and luck

Wrestle the jewel from out of this muck

Restore the Heaven that is everyone's by right

I await the dawn that ends eternal night.
